Local Energy Rebate Program for DTE Energy and Michcon.

Rebates for Furnaces, Central Air Conditioners and Water Heaters
Savings are in the air and water.
As much as half the energy used in your home goes to heating and cooling. So your home's heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system has a big effect on your utility bills.
DTE Energy's Your Energy SavingsSM program offers great rebates on select, energy efficient air conditioners, furnaces and water heaters.
• Upgrade your old HVAC system today and take advantage of rebates from $100 to $350
• Upgrade your water heater to an ENERGY STAR model with rebates from $35 to $150
Boost your purchase savings even further by taking advantage of promotional rebates offered by equipment manufacturers and potential Federal tax credits of up to 30% of the purchase price for equipment, up to a maximum household credit of $1,500.
Please note: Due to tremendous response, we are nearly out of funds for the 2009 program. Installations completed by October 15th and applications received by October 31st can still receive rebates paid in 2009 subject to available program funds.
Rebate applications for installations made after October 15th may still be submitted and will be considered for payment as soon as funds are available in early 2010.
